About Us/
Here at The Cress Company we still regard ourselves as a small business employing just 15 staff. Based in Dunfermline we currently distribute to mainland Scotland and the North of England using our own fleet of dual temperature (ambient/chilled) vehicles. We also deliver outside this area via a third party. We supply products from high quality manufacturers to our variety of customers which include delis, cafes, farm shops and hotels. We pride ourselves on looking after our customers and ensuring we listen and adapt to their needs because without them we wouldn’t be here!
We are keen members of the Guild of Fine Foods and are keen to support both independent manufacturers and retailers. If you ever have a problem or a suggestion of how we could improve our service please don’t hesitate to let us know!

How We Began/
The company was started in 2004 by Joe Wall. With a 30sqm lock up and a second-hand van Joe worked with five or six Scottish fine food manufacturers who were looking for better distribution throughout Scotland. As the business grew there was increasing interest from other manufacturers who were keen to work with the Cress Co, including those based in England and further afield. Through a combination of hard work, customer service (and a bit of luck) the business has continued to grow and relocated twice. In 2008 we moved from Perth to a 1000sqm unit in Dunfermline. This has allowed us to increase our lines, improve our distribution and now to add chilled product distribution.
