When I left school, I started learning the ropes as a bench joiner/carpenter. It was hands-on, steady work, and it taught me a lot about patience and paying attention to the little details

I’m a pretty sporty person — stick me on a golf course or a cricket pitch in the summer and I’m in my element. When I’m not doing that, I enjoy just hanging out with friends and family.

What might people be surprised to learn about you?
We have a big family, with our eldest child born while were still at secondary school. Also, I joined Cress Co in 2006 when there were only two other employees - Joe (the boss), and Wayne (aka Uncle Wayne, driver), so have spent the past two decades experiencing the industry and continue to enjoy riding the rollercoaster.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Reading and developing my hokey cokey skills, but I always fall down when putting my left foot in. Other than that, I have an interest in airplanes but am a terrible flyer!
