In 2012, our founder Fergus took to the streets of Mexico, discovering first-hand the truly incredible flavours and culture of authentic Mexican cuisine. Inspired by the fresh ingredients, colours (and chaos), he returned to the UK with fire in his belly and changed how the UK eats Mexican food.
And for your customers, a great Mexican meal starts with chips and salsa. The bowl of chips in the middle of the table, a jar or two of salsa open and everyone tucking in, the meal underway before anyone has properly sat down.
Our Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips are crisp, golden, made the traditional way and were named "Best Tortilla Chips to Buy" by The Sunday Times in July 2024. We use stone-ground corn and the ancient method of nixtamalisation for real depth of flavour, then cut and fry our chips for serious crunch. Large, authentic and lightly salted, they're perfect for dipping into a jar of Gran Luchito salsa.
Our salsas are made in Mexico, from the highest quality ingredients using authentic recipes. Our range includes Super Smoky Chipotle Salsa, Zingy and Tango Tomatillo Salsa and Hot Habanero Mango Salsa. Nothing shortcut, nothing imitated — just the flavours Fergus first tasted on those streets.
